A Course I Took. A System I Still Want to Use.
A few years ago, I followed a course on WinCC OA organised by Siemens in The Hague. At the time, the motivation was clear. I was working in complex automation environments where reliability, transparency, and long term maintainability mattered more than flashy features. WinCC OA fit that mindset perfectly.
The course itself was solid. It covered the architecture, the scripting concepts, the data point model, and the philosophy behind the platform. After finishing the course, I returned to verification & validation work and WinCC OA slowly moved to the background.
